CKLA is a non-profit organization with the goal of improving the landlord’s experience through networking, education and information sharing.

In 2006 several landlords with properties in  Anderson, Franklin, Mercer, Woodford, and Scott counties met and discovered they faced common challenges.  They found they could accomplish more for themselves and their tenants, as well as their communities, by working together.

That year, a compilation of forcible detainers was started from public records and now has 22,000 entries.  It is updated  weekly and can be accessed by our members on this site.

CKLA also serves as a support group.

Meetings

Monthly meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday at 6 p.m., during the school year.   Check the Calendar tab for the most current information.  There is typically a guest speaker to discuss a topic relevant to landlords.

Support

Have a question or problem?  Share it with the members and see what has worked (or not) for them. Many times a member doesn’t have what a prospective tenant is looking for, so they share that person’s contact information.   A tenant has help with the search and a landlord might fill a vacancy.
